You can find trustworthy CPU benchmarks from reputable tech websites and publications such as Tom's Hardware, AnandTech, and TechSpot. These websites conduct thorough testing and analysis of CPUs using standardized benchmarks and real-world performance tests. Additionally, you can also refer to user reviews and feedback on websites like Amazon and Newegg to get a sense of real-world performance from actual users. Always make sure to cross-reference information from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability. **

Benchmarks are standards or reference points used to measure the performance or quality of a product, service, or process. They provide a way to compare and evaluate performance against a known standard or best practice. Benchmarks can be used to identify areas for improvement, set goals, and track progress over time. They are commonly used in business, education, and technology to assess performance and drive continuous improvement. **

Good benchmarks are measurable standards or reference points that can be used to evaluate the performance or success of a particular process, product, or organization. They provide a basis for comparison and help to set achievable goals. Good benchmarks are relevant, specific, and aligned with the objectives of the entity being measured. They should also be realistic and attainable, and allow for continuous improvement over time. **

Benchmarks for PCs are standardized tests or performance measurements used to evaluate the speed, efficiency, and overall performance of a computer system. These benchmarks are used to compare the performance of different hardware components, such as processors, graphics cards, and storage devices. By running these tests, users can determine the capabilities of their PC and compare them to other systems to make informed decisions about upgrades or purchases. Popular benchmarking tools include 3DMark for graphics performance, Geekbench for overall system performance, and CrystalDiskMark for storage performance. **

Destiny 2 doesn't have built-in benchmarks because the game is primarily designed for console platforms, where benchmarking is not as common as it is on PC. Additionally, the game's performance can vary greatly depending on the specific hardware and settings of each individual PC, making it difficult to create a one-size-fits-all benchmark. Bungie, the developer of Destiny 2, may have also prioritized other features and optimizations over implementing a benchmarking tool. Players can still use third-party benchmarking software to test the game's performance on their specific system. **

Pre-built PC manufacturers conduct benchmarks by running a series of tests on their systems to measure performance in various areas such as processing speed, graphics capabilities, and overall system stability. These tests are often standardized and widely recognized, such as 3DMark for graphics performance and PCMark for overall system performance. The results of these benchmarks are then used to showcase the performance of their systems to potential customers, and to compare their systems to competitors in the market. Additionally, manufacturers may also use real-world applications and games to demonstrate the capabilities of their pre-built PCs. **

Your i7 8700k may downclock during benchmarks due to thermal throttling or power limits. When the CPU reaches a certain temperature or power consumption level, it will automatically reduce its clock speed to prevent overheating and potential damage. This is a built-in safety feature to protect the CPU. To prevent downclocking during benchmarks, you can try improving the cooling solution for your CPU, such as using a better heatsink or increasing airflow in your PC case. Additionally, you can adjust the power limits in your BIOS settings to allow the CPU to maintain higher clock speeds during intensive tasks. **

The Snapdragon 888 varies in benchmarks due to several factors. One reason is the thermal management of the device, as different smartphones may have varying cooling systems that can affect performance. Additionally, software optimization plays a crucial role in how efficiently the chipset performs in different devices. Lastly, the amount of RAM and storage speed can also impact benchmark results, as they influence how quickly the processor can access and process data. **
