The Nikon D90 is popular because it was one of the first DSLR cameras to offer HD video recording capabilities, making it a versatile choice for both photographers and videographers. It also has a good balance of features, performance, and price, making it attractive to a wide range of users. Additionally, the D90 was well-received for its excellent image quality, user-friendly interface, and solid build quality, further contributing to its popularity among photography enthusiasts. **

The self-timer function on the D90 is a feature that allows the photographer to set a delay before the camera takes a picture. This is useful for situations where the photographer wants to be in the photo themselves or when using a tripod to avoid camera shake. The D90 typically offers options for different delay times, such as 2, 5, 10, or 20 seconds, giving the photographer flexibility in setting up the shot. **

There are several potential reasons why your D90 may be taking blurry photos. One common reason is that the camera's autofocus may not be properly calibrated, causing it to focus incorrectly. Another possibility is that the shutter speed is too slow, resulting in motion blur. Additionally, using a high ISO setting in low light conditions can also lead to blurry photos. It's important to check these settings and make sure they are properly adjusted to ensure clear and sharp images. **

The maximum exposure time for the Nikon D90 is 30 seconds in manual mode. This allows for long exposure shots in low light conditions, such as night photography or capturing light trails. Additionally, the camera also has a bulb mode, which allows for exposures longer than 30 seconds when using a remote shutter release. **
